New: Connect Airtable to Soorse, with Membership Sync That Works Your Way
· By The Soorse Team
Your organization already has a way of keeping track of its members. Maybe your Airtable base holds membership statuses, renewal dates, and contact details. Your team knows it, your records live there, and you want that information to work with your member community.
Soorse now connects to Airtable with a customizable membership integration. Bring your member data into Soorse, decide how membership changes affect group access, and choose which profile updates should flow back to Airtable.
Your data, organized your way
Every organization keeps different records. An association might track annual renewals, a club might use membership categories, and a nonprofit might maintain a simple active-member list.
You choose which Airtable columns match member details in Soorse. Columns that help you manage membership can drive access rules without becoming profile fields. That means you can keep the structure that works for your team and connect it to a directory where members can find and connect with each other.
Membership rules that fit your organization
Decide what qualifies someone for your group. For example, you can invite members whose status is Active, use expiration dates to manage access, and restore access when a membership is renewed.
Your rules connect the membership records your team maintains to the community your members use. When a membership ends, Soorse can revoke group access. When it is renewed, access can be restored. Unclear or incomplete records are flagged for review so you can correct them in Airtable and import again.
Keep selected details current in both places
Members can update their profiles in Soorse, and you can choose to send supported details, such as phone numbers and location, back to their existing Airtable records. Select the fields you want to keep current and leave the rest under your team's control.
Prefer to only bring data into Soorse? Choose import-only. Want selected profile updates to flow back too? Enable that during setup. You decide which details move in each direction.
Review once, then choose your level of automation
Your first import opens a review of the membership records before you approve invitations. From there, you can use daily sync to keep membership access current and automatically invite newly eligible members, or continue reviewing invitations before they go out. You can also schedule invitations for later.
For an individual import, you can choose to show invited members in your group directory before they join. Their cards are labeled and cannot be opened until they become group members, so your directory can reflect the community you are bringing onto Soorse.
Connect your records to your community
Airtable can stay at the center of your membership workflow while Soorse gives those members a place to discover each other, build relationships, and stay connected to your organization.
To get started, open your group's membership tools, choose Sync to CRM → Airtable, and follow the guided setup. Connect your table, map your member details, set your rules, and review your first import.
Get started with Soorse and bring your membership records and member community together.
