Yes. Your organization can create a group, run its member directory, publish posts and events, and access Soorse Intelligence without an organization subscription. Optional paid features and revenue transactions have their own pricing or fees; they are not required to run your free directory.
Do our members have to pay?
No. Members can start free, join up to five groups, search their trusted directory, connect with people, and participate in group activity. Soorse Plus is an optional paid upgrade. Free messaging, conversations, and AI usage have limits; see Pricing for the current member plans.
Can organizations that aren’t 501(c)(3)s earn revenue?
Yes. Revenue options are not limited to 501(c)(3) nonprofits. Eligible organizations, including for-profit groups, can earn through paid sub-groups and Community Partner sponsorships after enabling monetization and completing Stripe payout setup. Feature eligibility, platform fees, and payment-processing fees apply. Soorse Plus subscription revenue sharing currently remains limited to eligible verified 501(c)(3) nonprofits.
How can our nonprofit receive revenue?
In addition to paid sub-groups and sponsorships, eligible verified 501(c)(3) nonprofits can receive a share of optional Soorse Plus subscriptions from members who belong to their groups. Your organization must complete verification and payout setup. Plus revenue depends on paid subscriptions, purchase platform, and how many eligible organizations each member supports; it is not guaranteed.
Do we have to replace our existing tools?
You can start with a member directory and keep using your existing tools. Soorse supports event imports and member-data connections with selected platforms, plus CSV imports and exports. Integration availability and setup vary; custom connections are scoped separately.
