New: Import Your Bloomerang Events into Soorse Automatically

· By The Soorse Team

If you raise money on Bloomerang, your events already live there — your galas, giving days, and campaign events are set up, dated, and ready to promote. The problem is that your members do not spend their days inside your fundraising platform. They open Soorse to see what is happening in their community. Until now, that meant re-entering every event by hand. Not anymore.

Soorse now connects directly to Bloomerang. Paste one API key, preview your events, pick the ones you want, and import them — then let Soorse keep them in sync automatically. No exporting spreadsheets, no double entry, no copy and paste.

Connect Bloomerang in a few clicks

The whole setup is a short, guided flow — and it uses a simple API key, so there is nothing to install and no complicated OAuth dance:

  • Generate your key in Bloomerang. In Bloomerang, open the Profile icon → My Profile → API Keys v2.0 → Generate to create an API key.
  • Paste it into Soorse. Drop the key into the Connect Bloomerang screen. Soorse validates the connection immediately, so you know it works before you go any further.
  • Preview your events. Soorse fetches your Bloomerang events and shows them to you in a clean list — you decide which ones belong on your Soorse page.
  • Import what you want. Select the events to bring over and import. Soorse reports exactly what happened: how many were imported, updated, or skipped.

Set it once, then let it run

You should not have to remember to re-sync every time you add an event. Turn on daily auto-sync and Soorse checks Bloomerang for you, pulling in new events and updating ones that changed. Events are matched to their original Bloomerang source, so re-running a sync never creates duplicates — it updates what is already there. Your event times come across with their correct time zone, so a 6:00 PM gala shows as 6:00 PM to your members.

Bloomerang joins a growing list of integrations

Bloomerang is the newest connection, not the only one. Soorse is built to meet your organization where it already works, pulling your events and member data in from the tools you already trust:

  • Bloomerang — import fundraising events and campaigns with a single API key (new).
  • Eventbrite — sync ticketed events and registration links from your Eventbrite organization.
  • Givebutter — bring in fundraising campaigns and events alongside everything else.
  • ChamberMaster / GrowthZone — native event sync for chambers, straight from your member management software.
  • Humanitix — import events from the ticketing platform that puts booking fees toward charity.
  • OneCause — bring your fundraising events into the mix as your community grows.
  • Google Calendar — connect a shared calendar and keep your team's events flowing automatically.
  • Outlook Calendar — the same seamless sync for organizations on Microsoft 365.
  • Monday.com — keep members in sync with your CRM board, matched on a stable ID so records update in place.

Every integration shares the same foundation — a small client that talks to the external API and a mapper that translates its data into Soorse's own events and members. That design is deliberate: adding the next source is mostly writing one new mapper, not rebuilding the system. So if your events live somewhere not on this list yet, it is usually a short conversation rather than a hard no. You can read more about how it all fits together in our events and CRM integrations overview.

Your fundraising events, in front of the people who care

Bloomerang is where you run your fundraising. Soorse is where your community engages. Connecting the two means the events you already built get seen by the members most likely to show up and give — on your group page, in their home feed, and on the public Community Calendar.
